LA Dance Floor Rentals for Parties and Events
Opus rents dance floors for parties and events across Los Angeles — weddings in Beverly Hills and Pasadena, corporate launches in Santa Monica, quinceañeras in Whittier, anniversaries in Long Beach, and everything in between. Wood, checkered, mirrored, custom-printed, and pool cover dance floors — built and installed by an in-house crew that’s been doing this since 2014, 80 to 100 events a year. We don’t subcontract. The crew that quotes your event is the crew that builds it.
Dance Floor Styles We Rent
Our standard catalog covers:
- Standard wood — classic parquet or oak look. The most-requested style for weddings and milestone parties.
- Seamless white — clean, modern, photographs well under stage lighting. Strong for corporate launches and luxury events.
- Checkered — black-and-white classic. Works for retro, themed, and high-contrast event design.
- Mirrored — reflective surface that catches overhead lighting. Dramatic centerpiece for after-dark receptions.
- Round, square, and custom shapes — non-rectangular footprints, engineered to fit unusual venue layouts.
- Custom-printed — logos, monograms, brand artwork, or themed designs printed directly on the surface. Common for corporate brand activations and themed weddings.
- Pool cover dance floors — our specialty when the event is happening over a pool. See our pool cover dance floor page for the full breakdown.
What Size Dance Floor You Need
Industry standard is roughly 3 square feet per dancing guest, assuming about half your guests dance at a time. Common sizes:
- 12×12 (144 sq ft) — fits a 50–60 guest event
- 16×16 (256 sq ft) — 75–90 guests
- 20×20 (400 sq ft) — 130–170 guests
- Larger or custom — for guest counts above 200, we build to scale. Our largest pool cover dance floors run 40×60. Custom dimensions are normal.
If you’re not sure, send us your guest count and a venue layout — we’ll recommend a size that fits the space and the energy you want.
Where We Deliver Across LA
We service the full LA metro area, including Beverly Hills, Pasadena, Santa Monica, Whittier, Long Beach, Glendale, Fullerton, Downey, Torrance, Anaheim, and surrounding cities. Backyards, hotel ballrooms, rooftop venues, downtown lofts, university campuses, and private estates — we’ve delivered to all of them.
What It Costs
Pricing depends on size, style, delivery distance, and install complexity. Custom-printed and mirrored floors cost more than standard wood. Pool cover dance floors are a separate calculation (see the pool cover page for that). For a ballpark, send us the size you’re after, the venue location, and your event date — we’ll get back the same business day. Final quote after we confirm logistics. A 50% deposit reserves the date, with the balance due before the event. Cancellations within 10 days of the event forfeit the deposit; cancellations before that can be rescheduled.
Why Opus
Multiple crew members have 20+ years of event rental experience. We don’t subcontract — same in-house team from quote to load-out. We’re fully insured. We’ve installed dance floors for weddings up to 300-400 guests, corporate launches, university events, quinceañeras, and private galas — every guest count from 30 to several hundred. The work is consistent because the people doing it are consistent.

Common Questions
What size dance floor do I need for 100 guests?
For most events with around 100 guests, an 20×20 (400 sq ft) dance floor is a strong fit — based on the standard guideline of 3 square feet per dancing guest, with about half of your guests dancing at a time.
Can you install a dance floor outdoors?
Yes — we install on grass, patios, concrete, decks, and over pools. Outdoor installs may require subflooring or leveling depending on the surface; we assess this during site review.
Do you do custom-printed dance floors with logos?
Yes. Custom-printed dance floors are common for corporate brand activations, themed weddings, and gala events. We work with your design file or partner with your designer.
How far in advance should I book?
Most clients book 6 to 8 weeks ahead. Last-minute bookings (within a week) are possible depending on availability.
Do you deliver and set up, or is that extra?
Delivery and installation are part of the service. A delivery fee applies based on location and access — typically modest, but it varies. We handle install and breakdown.
