Laying Out the Space
Build intimate seating clusters for 6–8 people — a couple of sofas, a couple of chairs, a shared table — rather than one big arrangement. Keep at least 4 feet between groupings and 6 feet clear for main pathways so no one has to squeeze past. Create a few zones (a cocktail area with high-tops, a relaxed zone with deep seating, a viewing area facing the entertainment), and angle at least one grouping toward the action so guests can watch without leaving their seats.
Planning for Weather

- Materials: choose weather-resistant frames and performance-fabric cushions that shrug off sun and the occasional drizzle — they look far better than plastic covers.
